Being Sick….

Being sick during the holidays is just plain wrong.  I am, however, glad it was me and not one of my kids but still, it is simply WRONG! 

You know, there’s the diagnosis of the decomposing nose or whatever.  I mean, really, my nose is simply falling apart.  Too much to get into here, just trust me.

Then, I kept getting sicker and sicker and I tried my best to tell the ENT on Monday that it wasn’t just nose decomposition, but he didn’t listen.

So, on Wednesday night, I get the mother of all shots.  And, I went to bed where I stayed until yesterday.  Then……………..then that steroid shot…well, it kept me up all night….all freakin’ night.

I passed my husband and the boys, I was headed to bed, they were headed out the door for breakfast. 

I slept til around 2:30, worked a little and now….now I am trying to make myself sleepy again because I need to be useful tomorrow.  Boy Genius started with the Christmas lights today and tomorrow, I have to unpack a desk that we have moved around the living room umpteen times and then out with the Christmas Tree and let the celebrating begin!
