It’s been several years now, I gave up cooking quite some time back because, well, let’s just say I’m not very good at it.  The eggs for the potato salad and the deviled eggs boiled dry and were flying all over the kitchen.  I picked up egg shells out of corners for weeks after that.

I did manage to put together the whole meal though.  My  mom showed up eventually and luckily I had a husband who could cook a little.  I gave him the responsibility of handling the prep work of the turkey.  Then, before it ever made it to the oven I  had to make a picture.  Well, actually, I made a lot of pictures.  I wish I could find this one in particular though.

This photo that made this turkey so special was of my little cousin who, at the time was 2 years old.  She was 2 and weighed about 18 pounds.  No, the turkey didn’t weigh 18 pounds but when you put the two besides each other, it darn well looked as if the turkey was bigger than this little 2 year old.

So, I made the picture and it made awesome Christmas cards, one turkey versus another, or something sill like that.  When it was all said and done, I had a nicely cooked turkey and my cousin had an awesome photo of her daughter for cards.

The rest of the meal?  Well, I made the macaroni and cheese but only because I can rock some mac and cheese and my mom managed to finish the meal off after my husband boiled eggs that actually made to the meal part of the day instead of being shells all over the kitchen.

Now, on to the best part, I’m not near as fond of turkey as I am of ham but hey, one turkey versus another is way funnier than one ham versus another, right?
