How do you party?

I only spent about half of a year when I was in my early twenties as a bar hopper.  And, our (as in me and my buddies) favorite place was one that was relatively small but packed a big punch.

For one thing, the music was loud enough to be heard, loud enough to dance and pretend no one was watching, but you didn’t have to yell and pretend you were 80 and hard of hearing to have a conversation with others.

I’ve attended quite a few conferences this year and one of the reasons for even going is to network.  And, trust me I like to network..or just talk in general if you wanna look at it that way.

But the conferences I attended and even one cocktail party that last for a few hours one night seem to want to blare music during all the networking events.

Call me silly but……I want to talk and listen to people that I can’t normally talk and listen to in person.  I can listen to music anytime.
