For Father’s Day I emailed my husband the codes to some of my Amazon gift certificates that I get for doing reviews. He didn’t order right away like I would have. I would have ordered something within days if not hours. I am always “wanting” something. And in reality, my husband is always wanting something to but when faced with the money to buy himself something….he drew a blank. How weird is that?
Well, he finally ordered and his gifts have started rolling in. The UPS guy knows us by name and it’s quite comical. If we aren’t home and the weather is bad, he leaves my stuff at my mom’s house on the porch or with my aunt. Then he leaves me a personal note stating that he has left the package with my mom or aunt. He words it exactly like that too, “I left you a package at your Aunt X’s house” Quite funny that he knows us so well.
And, we live in the far depths of the woods and at one time FedEx asked if they could only come to my house a couple of time a week. They have even been known to mail me a letter USPS to tell me that they didn’t know where I lived. Like, you mailed the letter to my house, you can deliver the package to that same address? NO?
Anyway, with the number of items rolling in now, Fed Ex has given up and started coming out this way more often. So, with that, I know you are dying to see what my husband bought with his Father’s Day cash. Yea?
This came yesterday…..
Is that cool or what? But, it was his money to spend on him. And, well that isn’t actually for him but I was appreciative none the less.
Today, this heavy box came. Not heavy as in huge and can’t pick it up heavy just a really small compact box but heavy for a box it’s size. I couldn’t think what in the world the man could have ordered that was so small but weighed so much. You will never believe this…but it is all on the up and up…..
Inside the box, I found…this 5 pound bag…
And, that is exactly what it appears to be… a bag of hard candy. The man had $100 to spend on Amazon and he ordered me a sign, himself a laptop skin and some other odds and ends but included was a 5 pound box of hard candy? From Amazon? Who in their right mind?
*shakes head…he is an awesome man…albeit a bit odd*
