Frugal Shopper? Who Me? You better believe it!
I headed out to take advantage of some big deals anywhere I could find them. The first stop, landed me at @MurphyUSA.
When I pulled into the parking lot to first get some petro, I used my Whrrl app and checked in and bam…I was a winner….Minute Made Orange Juice was mine!
Then, I grabbed my coupon and headed inside……my coupon is good for $1.00 off a $25.00 Murphy Fuel and More Gift Card…see this….

Think about it, even if you are only buying $25.00 worth of gas, with this coupon, you will still get the $25.00 coupon by paying $24.00 and you can still get $25.00 worth of gas. There are no fees for buying the card.
And, look at this card, is it a cutie or what?
This is where it gets fun…..I get to pick out as much as I can find and show you what all I got with my $25.00 gift card.
Remember, Boy Genius was doing a similar shop so I had to prove to him that I could be more frugal than he could at the same store with the same amount of money.

Remember, I’m on Nutrisystem so these are not foods for me but man is this ever hard…
And, if you don’t know it, candy bars like these are 3 for $2.00…yea not the supersize ones but the regular ones which are $1.49 individual, are 3 for $2.00….I’m all over some thrifty now.
This is far and away my candy weakness!
Even if I eat none of these, they won’t last long at my house…
And these will be gone even quicker…
The Snickers aren’t likely to hang around long either…although I kind of like Milky Way’s lot!
Indeed, Coca Cola’s were two 20 oz cokes for $2 but I went for the biggest frugal shop of all time……
Do you see that screen? I had a $25.00 gift card, which I purchased for $24.00 and then I spent it and….I came within 8 cents of spending the entire amount!
There is my receipt for $24.92 cents leaving me with a whopping 8 cents left……
Here’s my stash….and…I gave a bag of chips away to the cashier who knows us now by name and was all giggly over this great project…
So, there was all that, another bag a chips and heck, don’t forget that Minute Made Orange Juice I won to get the whole trip started…..

Just for good measure…..this is my favorite cashier in this store, she is nothing but jolly! She remembered us from the night we won $20 in gas and gave it away. When I told her that we won $50 worth of gas after that, she gave me a super high five as she shouted “God is Good!”
