So, where do you draw the line….you know, the one in the sand….the one where it becomes so over-whelming.  I don’t really won’t to be rude and just start listing off social media outlets that I don’t like but the truth is, when is enough enough?

I mean, look at the pattern…

I have a blog, you read it….you comment it…

You have a blog, I read it…I comment it…

You have a Twitter ID….I follow you…I chat with you….

I have a Twitter ID….you follow me……you chat with me…

And, then…..you join a ning group and invite me and I join……..

and then there’s another ning group and I’m invited and I invite you and we both join…

then…MySpace shows up on the scene and everyone jumps in……

then before you get turned around good..Facebook bursts on the scene……

and now….everyone has a blog, a Twitter account, a Facebook account, a Facebook Fan club, we belong to Ning group after Ning group, we are part of forums and then the next thing we know, we are creating our own Ning group or our own network and then there’s more and more…….

And, I’m ready to just say, hey, can we just all just get along here and stop with the high school cliquey stuff?

I just want to blog and Tweet and again, all these Ning groups are awesome and I couldn’t appreciate the invitations to the Ning groups any more and of course there are always those that are more elite than others.

But, where does it end……where do we stop having to join more an more groups to keep up?  I mean, I know I am not obligated to join anything but my point is not about obligations, it’s about being part of the clique, being part of the group, staying up-to-date on the newest and latest opportunities.

And, honestly, I write a lot of blogs………and I am the founder, administrator and publisher of a blog network of 16 blogs.  Add to that the contests and the reviews that I not only want to do, I spend time seeking out.  So, that’s a lot of stuff going on.

I, personally, spend way more time online than anyone I know and when I tell people how much time I spend online, most folks look at me as if I have grown an extra head.   But, I love it.  I love what I do, I love everything that goes with it and all I can say is, don’t forget about me…I’m here…if you have a group…..let me in….I’m all high school’ish like that!
