So, what’s all the hoopla about?
I still have no internet, here it is Sunday night, and I was told I would have my service back by Tuesday evening. GAH! I am simultaneously tweeting on my phone, checking email on my phone and attempting to put together some coherent thoughts. Good luck reading this one is all I have to say.
Actually, this will probably be revised many times before you see it, what with the internet situation and all, and since it is a huge announcement on my part, hopefully…I can get it right (and what else am I gonna do besides edit and re-edit, right?)
And, I had hoped to have a better grasp on the exacts of some of my upcoming projects but, as it is, I promised you information and I will give you what I can.
First of all, Mom~E~Centric is alive and well. I am going to continue to bore you with trivial pieces of information about my children which is what this blog is essentially about….me focusing all of my attention on my children. However, that focus had shifted and become painstakingly difficult as I attempted to spray myself in so many directions. So, as per my husband who reminds me prior to ever conference I attend “do not come home with another blog” and ultimately in the past, I’ve done exactly the opposite; I did manage to go to Blogher and return home without committing to another blog. As a matter of fact, conversations at Blogher were exactly what led me to believe that it is time for me to downsize. Don’t forget you can always follow me on Twitter as The_Jerri_Ann
With that, I will continue to write reviews on the review page of this blog, I will continue to put some of the best stuff (can you say hello Frigidaire?) on the main page and I will continue to tell you about products I believe in and host contests with these products.
So for you, my readers here, nothing much will change except for maybe the quality of writing because more time means better quality, right?
I have plans, they look like this:
1. dedicate more time to my most popular blog ever, TV Boyfriends This blog has proven time and time again to be a good place for me and I’ve managed to make a connection with a few of the “celebrities” that I have written about (you can see one of the in my twitter feed if you know who you are looking for).
2. dedicate more of my time and feature the work of others on my Mom is Teaching Blog. I want to start to focus on the education that I have, a B.S. in Education with a teaching certificate in Physical Education and a Masters in Counseling. I am moving my focus from various other blogs to this one in particular. We will see out that works out.
3. launch and grow a group blog project called Blogalogues with other bloggers employing an ad network and building bridges
4. make time to use my EASports Active 30 Day Challenge game to lose some weight (once my foot is properly healed) and I hope to join forces with the above not-named celebrity in a national agenda to fight childhood obesity. I will be blogging all of this on Jerri Ann which is a blog dedicated solely to my 30 Day Challenge and will incorporate this new celebrity blogger (I hope, this is the part that is still a bit iffy….so just leave it at “if things go according to planned”)
5. for financial reasons, I will continue to blog paid posts on my paid blogs, using celebrity gossip to fuel them. I have to eat, I mean exercise, right? I would venture to say that those are the least important to any of you anyway.
6. use that hard-earned degree I mentioned above and teach online courses through vlogging and ebooks to those who are just starting to blog and need someone to hold their hand. Along with this, I will become the Technical Instructor for the company that I am presently serving as the Virtual Assistant for. This will require some of the time I have formerly devoted to various blogs of other niche’s. I am going to teach, via vlogging and youtube, and ebooks, some courses in workshops all over the country and when I say all over, I mean like even in Alaska, how cool is that?
So, wish me well, know that my media site, Jerri Ann Reason will always house all of my online works and as soon as I have internet, it will be a home for some videos that I did with Ford, Mom TV, Girlfriendology and others just recently.
With that, all I can say is people, get used to hearing my southern slang because it’s gonna be IN YOUR FACE!

Hi Jerri, first congrats for getting up to the conference, I want to say I’ll be there next year but we will see. We are hoping to be moving this upcoming year which would mean being that much closer, making it easier to get there for me. We shall see.
Congrats again on teaching the online classes, I think you are hitting a subject you know very well. I’ve been taking online classes for the past 6 months and I find them much easier and a bit easier to do as I have issues getting there. Being a mom of four this is just an easier course of action.
Your husband sounds very much like mine, he always gets afraid when I start thinking up ideas and will ask, “Does this mean you work/write on another blog?” He also does this to me when I enter a bookstore, “Try not to buy the whole store.” hehe.
Ugh on the internet issues, I know all too well how that feels. My internet device broke right before 451press decided to close shop for most of us. I came back just in time to post my remaining entries but since it was down I had no such luck.
I sure hope they get that back up and running.
I see nothing wrong with doing paid ads as long as the reviewer/blogger states it somewhere or has it in a category. I always make sure I announce if I received it from somewhere or at the bottom I post that it is.
Hope ya get back online soon. Oh do you have an internet cafe nearby? When mine was down I’d write everything up in word and save it, go to the cafe and upload it.
