This is pretty neat, 6 word memoir
Since meeting Jen Lancaster, I’ve become obsessed with memoirs. People lead some funny and strange lives. And, I, I hope to do one of my own one day. However, in the meantime, while scavenging through my own archives, I found a couple of posts that I did. The first one that is labeled “6 Word Memoir” occurred on June 18, 2008 It read like this,
Organized Chaos, Open Mind, Loose Tongue
That was June 18th of this year. So, when I saw it my first thought was, nope, nothing has changed for my six words. But, I left it for a few hours and come back, this time, it is much the same, just a different set of words.
Then, on November 9, 2008, I found myself reading in my archives and I found where I had updated my “6 Words Memoir” This time, I came up with this:
Fingers Talk, Brain Forgets to Think
So, yea, same basic concept but the main difference between then and now is that we no longer own a daycare and I’m not near as chaotic. Although my house looks like a storm has hit right now, it is totally from the construction and re-modeling.
And, even though I’m not out and about with real adults very often anymore, it is very obvious that my tongue is still loose but my fingers are the ones conveying the message…and as always, I forget to to think before I speak, words just come through my head and out my mouth before I realize what has happened.
So, here I am, at some awful early hour of the morning and I’m perusing through my archives and find this post. And I found the posts and since it has been an entire year, I think it is time to re-visit my 6 words………
Let’s see…..
Re-inventing Normalcy, Pain-Relief,
Loving Life
So, what’s your six words?
