That post about a Hot Mama

In my last post I made mention of "hot mama's". I forgot to add that part of the conversation but I have learned so much about my son this past week while we've been alone driving to and from baseball practice.  Wow!  I have had my head buried in the dirt way to long, I can promise you that.

Today, along with the conversation about the j...j...j...that thing, heck, I might as well name the darn thing and get on with.  I must have a proper noun for that jock strap

and cup.  And, the thing was named today.  The conversation:

Here's this Shindig you have to wear.  (Showing him the tightie whities with a little spot built in for the actual cup)

No Way!

Ok

*Shakes head because I just knew he was going to have a turkey-sized fit on me*

We went by Mini Me's practice first and then Ditto Boy and I loaded up to head to Ditto Boy's practice.  We get in the truck and ...the conversation...

Where's my Shindig?

So, now, we have that jock strap named a Shindig and that's what it will be forever.  I guess it's time to start a Mom~E~Centric dictionary over there somewhere.  Heck, I have everything else around here, might as well do that too.

Now, back to the hot mama's.  We had just had a quick conversation about the Shindig when he proceeded to tell me that so and so told him that so and so told him that so and so was hot.  Did you get that?  Like John told me that Joe told him that Jane was hot.

Today, I had the pleasure of meeting John or Joe's mom, I mean, who can keep up.  And, we laughed about that little story and then she floors me with, "well, at least he wasn't telling you that someone's momma was hot"

I picked myself up off the ground.  The Shindig appears to be the least of my worries.

UGH!

I am a mom to two wonderful boys. They are my life. I needed a career where my kids could continue to be my life. We bought a daycare. Now, my boys and I spend all day together. Sometimes I need a mommy break, but mostly, I love it. I am definitely a mom who is focused clearly on her children. That's me, mom~e~centric.
