Bnter for Parents

I know you all get tired of hearing how intelligent my son is.  Please know that it isn’t a direct reflection of his mother.  His father?  Maybe so, but not from his mother.  Anyway, we have the most ingenious conversations at the craziest times.  Last week we were headed to baseball and all hyped up about balls and strikes when were struck with conversation about how many feet are in a mile.  Definitely enough for me to yell, Strike One! As the conversation grew, I turned it into strike two and three and finally, at the point where the 8 year old decided to figure out how many feet were in a quarter of a mile..I declared that a foul ball.

Yes, I’m a sports freak but I’m not an idiot..I just like to veg sometimes on the brain work.  Apparently my husband and child aren’t into brain-vegging because they have these type conversations all the time.  Once on a long road trip the 8 year old wanted someone to explain what “probability” meant.  I need ear plugs for those kind of conversations.

Anyway, that’s not what this is about.  This about logging those conversations so that years from now, or even next week (if I happen to be brain-vegging) I can sit back and recall my youngsters finest moments.  That brings me to BNTR.  It’s a great site for recording small (or large if you are discussing probability) conversations.  You can check out your friends and their conversations and you can even export your conversations to Twitter and Facebook.  They even have an Android App.  No kidding, it really is all that!

If you are on the website and looking for me, I’m “jareason”, feel free to join in.  You can also check out the staff’s favorite conversations in the “Hall of Fame”.

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of the Bnter Campaign and received a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.

I am a mom to two wonderful boys. They are my life. I needed a career where my kids could continue to be my life. We bought a daycare. Now, my boys and I spend all day together. Sometimes I need a mommy break, but mostly, I love it. I am definitely a mom who is focused clearly on her children. That's me, mom~e~centric.
