Boom Boom Cards–Woohooo
I have been fortunate enough in recent months to interview some great people. But, because I was afraid of sounding like a total freak, I’ve merely delivered those interviews to you in written form. Well, no more, freak-a-zoid is out. I’m a podcasting fool these days.
That leads me to my opportunity to interview Mary Beth Campbell from Boom Boom Cards. Seriously, this was one awesome interview and all my southern slang taken into consideration, I still love this podcast.
If you aren’t familiar with Boom Boom Cards, let me tell you this, it’s about Acts of Kindness. We talk about Karma and generalize about what goes around comes around. Well, Boom Boom Cards give you the opportunity to do something nice, post on a social platform about that act of kindness, give the card away and then follow that card as others use it to be kind to one another.
Seriously!!!
Tune in with me as I chat with Mary Beth Campbell

“Wal-Mart”
While checking out in Wal-Mart tonight a gentleman was in front of us an had groceries set to the side. I asked if they were his not wanting him to forget them at the end of the register. He said yes they were his but he said he was waiting to see if he had enough money to get them after his other groceries. They were food items like lunch meat. He paid for the food order with a goverment card an pulled a few dollars cash from his wallet for personal non food items. He politely told the cashier that he would need to put those food items back because he didn't have enough to purchase them. While he loaded his purchased items into his shopping cart I had the cashier scan the items he asked to put back an paid for them. Then said here sir you forgot your last items. He said no I got it all. I handed him the grocery bags an as he looked at them he said I didn't pay for these items. I said its been covered sir you have a great day. He said, "What?" "Are you sure?" "Yes sir I'm sure its been covered". He said, "Thank you so much!" an walked away with a smile. I hope that the next person can help some one an show them that there are still people that care about people in this world! Think about how many times a week you blow $20 on senseless items when somebody could have food that they might not have other wise have...

I am a mom to two wonderful boys. They are my life. I needed a career where my kids could continue to be my life. We bought a daycare. Now, my boys and I spend all day together. Sometimes I need a mommy break, but mostly, I love it. I am definitely a mom who is focused clearly on her children. That's me, mom~e~centric.
