Happy 9th Birthday to My Baby Boy!
Yes, Genius Kid was a whopping 9 years old yesterday. We gave him….the day…he also received his report card on Friday and of course, sporting the A Honor Roll just means he was stoked about all we had going on in celebration. What would a 9 year old like to have to celebrate?
A trip to STIX, our favorite restaurant…sushi sushi sushi and more sushi. A big sing-a-long of a Japanese happy song and some ice cream.
A shopping trip to Target where…you got it Nintendo DS Games were on his agenda.
We headed to a big bowling alley where he chose to celebrate in the game room instead of actually bowling. Once we had expended all or quarters. we headed to Walmart.
At Walmart we loaded the buggy with stuff for a birthday lunch which didn’t happen until today, who had room for food after we had just stuffed ourselves full of Japanese? We gathered candles and other goodies and can you believe they even had a Bakugon Cake?

I am a mom to two wonderful boys. They are my life. I needed a career where my kids could continue to be my life. We bought a daycare. Now, my boys and I spend all day together.
