Honestly, how can you read those names and not laugh. No, really, does that not sound like some of the best fun every. I have to tell you this though, if you plan to do anything productive in the hours after opening the games, well, you better find a way to put off opening them or give up on the other work. Once you open Giraffalaff Limbo, you will find your very young and agile children beating your very competitive, over weight and middle age body over and over in this game.

And, having been a physical education teacher, I knew what a crab walk entailed, I just didn’t know my body wouldn’t do it anymore. But, when that Giraffalaff started cackling at me like a hienna, I was more determined than ever…oh yea, I wasn’t going to go down that easily. A sore loser probably because upon hitting the floor the next day, the signs of age were too much. In the meantime, two little boys were rockin’ it and I managed to sucker their dad into thinking he could beat them. Ha ha ha, sucker!

And, since I happen to feel that our kids just do not get enough “action” during the day and that’s how they end up like very un-actionable parents like me, I was all for this..I just needed to watch and laugh for a big part of it. But, once we broke out the Scatterpillar Scramble, I was able to shine a bit more. Competitiveness runs in my veins and there was no way I was losing all the games my kids were sporting. This was is much easier on the body actually and basically it’s a matter of putting marbles in a wiggling caterpillar’s hands. Ah, yes, much better suited for someone of advanced maternal age (and paternal too).
