Soup Weather is HERE – closed all comments left after noon on the 10th are invalid

I’m not a big fan of hot foods in the summer, but just as it starts to cool off, I’m all for grabbing up some soups and chili.  And, Progresso has made it easy. And, when I say they made it easy, I don’t mean they just sent me a can of soup.  Heck, they sent me 2 monster soup bowls and even better Progressive engraved spoons.

My Blog Spark gave me the chance to try this out and like I said, the first hint of some cool weather and I’m looking for some hot foods.  My husband and children aren’t very big on soup so I was thrilled to find that I had the whole can to myself.  Two bowls?  Heck, I can fix them a bit of cereal while I chow down on my soup.  Two spoons, well they are too big for the kid’s mouths and I had no worries that my husband was going to take the soup away from me….or did I?

I was saving it, for that special day when it was chilly, I was basically planning to skip lunch because I was not in the mood to get off the sofa when I remember that…I have Progresso soup.  Yea, except….when I arrived in the kitchen, I found that I had half of a can of Progresso soup.  I guess I shouldn’t argue with the fact that he ate half instead of demolishing the whole can.

And, here’s some great info about the soups that you might not have known otherwise and reason enough for me to add them to my grocery list this week…

First of all there are four new, great tasting Progresso soups that have 28% of the recommended Daily Value of fiber per serving (7 grams) and have no added MSG* or artificial flavors. The new varieties include Chicken Tuscany, Creamy Tomato Basil, Hearty Vegetable and Noodles and Homestyle Minestrone.
