The holidays starting with Thanksgiving and rounding out after New Year’s puts a lot of people on the road, traveling to and from family to be with the ones they love.  And, one thing you cannot afford to forget is the buckling of your children.

Yes, you and I traveled with 4 other kids and we sat all over the car including the front seat where airbags weren’t even a thought.  But, now, that’s simply not realistic and the roads will be full this holiday season.  Here’s a set of helpful links so you can see just how important it is to make sure your children are buckled in properly.

AAA estimates that 30 million people will be travelling this Thanksgiving holiday alone and for many this is just the beginning of the hustle and bustle of the holidays.  Now is the time to utilize the Child Car Safety tools

provided by NHTSA and the AdCouncil to learn more about proper car seat installation.  You will find informative articles as well as helpful, clear instructional videos.

Have child passenger safety questions that you need answered before you travel over the river and through the woods to Grandma’s?  The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is always available to answer them online on Facebook and Twitter @childseatsafety
