Have you read the tweets about being more than 140 characters?
There’s a really funny tweet that makes the circle through the twitter feed almost daily that basically states that if you need to tell something and it takes more than 140 characters, then you need to make it a blog post, not a tweet! So, here goes….
Last night, out of the blue, I get called out like this……(on Twitter mind you) my comments in red
moms, what is a "brand ambassador"? saw that @The_Jerri_Ann is a brand ambassador for… like everyone. (If I a an ambassador for everyone, what the hell does that make Dooce? just askin’)
@The_Jerri_Ann the disclosure is weird, it looks like they will influence your content and also you took down a post about the cruise (I read that disclosure and, uh? and cruise and what about ambassadors and cruise and how do they relate?)
@The_Jerri_Ann the one where you were bugged with the folks who work at collective bias, where I guess you work now? (erm, no conference that had anything to do with Collective Bias but I do have an entire blog dedicated to that cruise crap and well, no I don’ t work for Collective Bias, I work WITH Collective Bias because remember, I work with every brand out there!)
@The_Jerri_Ann it’s just that I went to you blob to find an old post but obviously you deleted it. I was curious but it’s not you. (erm, no I didn’t delete anything from my blog…or my blob either for that matter – I do have a whole blog not blob full of info though)
@The_Jerri_Ann it’s the whole concept of the brand ambassador. The Twitter party. The relentless spam and the mom who has no real voice (UH? Have you ever met me? I do get laryngitis quite easily, is that what you mean? Wait, no, you mean like, no voice as in no opinion of my own, as in I don’t tell you what I think? Humm, well I certainly think not!)
@The_Jerri_Ann I’m sure you’re lovely. I just can’t comprehend blogging for orange juice and allowing them to influence your content (Well, now that you mention it, I am quite lovely)

(Twitter parties spam, but I wasn’t part of the twitter party yet I still got called out for being an ambassador for everyone and for spamming…ahem, by the way, while I am being an ambassador for everyone, do you think I could get an all-expense paid trip to say…I don’t know…Hawaii?)

so as I look over the tweets where I was called out for being an ambassador for a brand but was later told that I wasn’t spamming….
@The_Jerri_Ann the spamming apparently is the result of twitter parties (and this 1, I wasn’t even partying with), but I was reminded
@The_Jerri_Ann I was reminded of something @GuyKawasaki said he used for folks who complained to him about his twitter feed
@The_Jerri_Ann and honestly, if you are reading my feed and you don’t like what you are reading, or you think you are being spammed….
