Social Fresh….and I am da’ pimp
This conference was much like the Social Networking Conference last year, the best part, I haven’t broke any bones. And, even better, I was sporting all kinds of products that came to me via sponsors but not necessarily for this conference so I wasn’t obligated to actually “pimp” anything.
Some things that I was sporting from previous sponsors definitely deserve a shout out. I’ll start at the beginning.
But, per my conference religion, I showed up in my Miss-Britt t-shirt that reads “I’m kind of a big deal on the internet. I forgot it at Blogher but other than that, it’s been my traveling attire. No one has said anything rude to me about the big ego, hahaha, but it’s a cute shirt, so there.
First, I am here courtesy of Collective Bias. I saw some great folks, including Buck and Ali and guess who? Yes, indeed John Andrews. I heard John speak along with many many others and I had a great day. I also was able to see Debba Haupert and as usual, I was shocked that she remember who I was. She is the brains of Girlfriendology and if you recall, I was the People’s Choice Winner for Blogher on Carole Hick’s Site for a Slim Perfect outfit.
I met oh so many more people but you all know how I am with names…..so sorry…
Moving right along….
I registered at the front desk with my Solo Laptop Case stuffed to the brim with various pieces of gadgetry.
I changed clothes and decided to head out to the pre-party. I changed into this great pair of pants from Peggy Lutz.
Apparently they all had a great night as Buck was late moving around and there are great photos on whrrl of his shoes. Well, actually a shoe. Buck apparently was running around barefoot while others were shooting photos for whrrl of his shoe by comparison to various items. I, being of the old nature, headed for cover well before anyone started losing shoes.
Back at the hotel, I changed into my Miss-Britt shirt and headed to the bar with the others. I gave up and headed for bed way before the others.
I party hard…..
This morning, I jumped in the shower, swish swish and then, I broke out the Barbar blow dryer because sure as the world, they had one of little wall mount things.
I reached for my L’Oreal lash lengthener and boosting serum, plumped up my lips and I was ready to go.
I got decked out in more Peg Lutz clothing and hit the trail.
The Solo Bag was a bit hit with it’s convenience and while I was busy showing off things, I was able to show off my coverbee too.
And, hey, if you were watching during the post-party, I was sporting my card cubby too.
I had my Mabel’s Label’s pen in tow because hello, that bright pink pen is too cool. Other than that, as if that wasn’t enough, I think that was all the pimping I did for this conferences.
Also on the list of “things to tell you about”, notice I didn’t say people, other than the ones I’ve already mentioned, there’s just way too many to mention.
No, wait, there’s this one. I met Kristin while in the keynote. She owns her own business called My Hands Are Clean which is a great tag to hang on your newborn’s car seat or stroller and I will be doing an official review of this in a few days. But, for now, check this out…
And, I was also sporting this cup from a review I did several months ago. FiberOne is what is written on the cup and it is so handy because of the lid. I’m often quite clumsy so I like having something with a lid on it to keep me from ruining my clothes and…well…everyone around me and the carpeting too.
I mean, really ya’ll, have you ever seen so much good stuff in your life. And, again, I wasn’t there to tell anyone about anything with the exception of Collective Bias and I recruited the owner of the My Hands Are Clean badge to join us.
I also was sporting my awesome blue tooth headset from Chicbuds……
Should I mention my business cards…by UPrinting?
In the meantime, It’s time for me to start thinking about heading to Disney in February….can one person possibly carry so many promotional items and not feel compelled to tell the world about them? I think not…..Wowzers! That’s pretty cool uh?

Hey Jerri Ann! It was great to meet you at Social Fresh and thanks for the shout out! The local news station dropped by this morning for an interview which was an awesome addition to my marketing efforts. I’m going to check out Collective Bias tonight or tomorrow when I get a free minute away from the kiddos. Hope you had safe travels back to “Sweet Home Alabama”! I look forward to staying in touch…
