Sometimes Karma kicks you in the shins and sometimes Fridgidaire kicks them back for you

Yes, indeed, I meant every word of that goofy long title.  First of all, let me share a photo with you from…last year around this time when I won  contest for the “Dirtiest House” on a blog.  Now, remember, this is from a year ago.,

At that time, we had a fully functioning dishwasher and believe it or not, we had 3 good and willing adults to wash if we needed to.  But, somewhere along the way, the good machine quit doing it’s thang and we quit using.  Boy Genius worked on it and declared it repaired.  My mom used it once and declared it broken.  And, so the vicious cycle began.  Finally, sometime in mid-February when I caught messing with wires and such,  I put a stop the non-sense.  So, see that photo, since sometime after my mom left after Christmas to go help her sister, we have managed to make that look like something out of Better Homes and Garden or Living or whatever that magazine is.

BUT NO MORE – YOU HEAR ME – NO MORE! Fridgidaire to the rescue!  I am part of the test-drive team for these products and you WILL hear so much more about this over the course of the summer because people, really, a new dishwasher…in my house……yes oh yes.

So, I suppose it’s really a no-brainer now what’s coming uh?  Yea, you got it, a new fazzy, shazzy, hot new fabulous dishwasher, Come On Down, you are the new winner on…oh, never mind, got excited there for a minute.  I didn’t have to do any bidding or anything for this baby.  I was just special for a few minutes one day in my crazy life and boom, there you go…..a stainless steel dishwasher.

Now, if anyone remembers, not that it is worth remembering, we had to tear out our kitchen cabinets 2 years ago because a link had molded and mildewed so far down that the floor was rotten too.  So, we have been without any cabinets, that long.  And, so our plan is, the get our income tax and buy cabinets and have all that kind of work out at the same time as the install of my dishwasher.

Yes, they are going to install it and haul off my other one which indeed has some serious problems.

So, instead of my kitchen looking like one that a bunch of college kids live in, I might get one that looks more like this.……

I’m wondering if they have a model yet that loads and unloads itself?  I mean, if it looks this good, sure we can help, right?

And, there is no way they knew I wanted my kitchen painted crimson red to go with pugugly orange family room.
