The smell of a fresh cut Christmas Tree has only graced my presence once.  We picked pine needles out of the carpet for years after that.  I traded that for an artificial tree and vowed to never look back.

But, who likes going into the garage on a cold winter day and digging through the creatures to find the Christmas tree that was stored almost a year ago and probably in haste?  Not me, that’s for sure.  We do have the luxury of a garage but unfortunately it isn’t animal-proof and unwrapping the tree each year involves a little de-crittering.  That has to be my least favorite part.

That being said, Amazon.com presented with the opportunity to review a not-so-new to the market but probably new-to-most Ceiling Hung Christmas Tree.  You heard me right, the tree is anchored to the ceiling.  How?  I’m not exactly sure yet but that’s not my responsibility now is it?  Boy Genius can tackle that task while I bask in the beauty of not having my floor space eaten up by a ginormous Christmas Tree that was purchased when my son was less than a year old.  We actually thought bigger equaled better.

With that, have you tried this phenomenon out?  Would you if given the chance?  I’ll keep you posted on how it goes as it should arrive on Wednesday and I’ll be certain to nag Boy Genius til he gets it up so I can make a photo.  Truly, this is a year when I can’t wait to get our Christmas Tree decorated.

Doesn’t the idea of unpacking your tree and then packing it up 30 days later and returning it to the store not sound like a grand scheme to rid yourself of that climb into the attic?
