Uncle, I Cry Uncle and I mean it!

Honestly, have you tried Uncle Ben’s Whole Grain Brown Rice?  I probably wouldn’t have tried it but my kids want to go to restaurants so they can order nothing but rice.  So, I figured, when Mom Central gave me the option of trying out some of the good stuff, I better get on it.

Let’s just say this ok, I turned my back for one or two days..or maybe a whole week and these 2 boys, 5 and 7 and their father had managed to make short work of the samples that we received.  Needless to say I had to question their motives.  All I can say is that I sure am glad I sent some of it to my mom’s house before they started eating the house down.

The answer was, “it was good”.  And my question was, “did you save me any”.  I received an answer in unison…”yea of course”. I go look and trust me when I tell you, I enjoyed those 4 bites as much or more than you can possibly imagine.  But, the fact that I only got four bites is a testament to the fact that the stuff was absolutely delish.

Honestly, my 5 year old is a very picky eater and he was scarfing that rice down like it was no one’s business.  And like he had no intentions of sharing..which he obviously didn’t.  Go figure.
