It’s not uncommon to go into my husband’s “room” in the back of the house and find multiple computers with the parts from each spread asunder. And, right now, there are two such computers sitting in my family room awaiting his attention. You see, apparently not everyone was savvy enough to marry a computer tech. Yea, of course I’m kidding. Kind of..Ok, so when I met him I had that laptop with issues and he fixed it on the first or second date..whatever *rolls eyes*
I tell you that to tell you this, if you have photos on your computer, make it a regular habit to store copies of those photos somewhere besides on that one computer, that one that has everything on it. Because honestly, do you want to lose the photos from when your second born child came into this world? I thought not.
You see, although quite a genius at what he does, hard drive recovery seems to be more than he is willing to attempt, even if it means finding those photos of your newborn that you cherished so dearly. Instead, he finds a way to explain how you should always have a back-up plan.
In such cases as this, I mean really, I married the computer technician, what more do I need in terms of security. Security of my photos anyway. Indeed, you will find yourself in need of data recovery services and/or the wonderful works of someone who can do hard drive repair. And the worst part? You can’t harass them to just do it already and quit stalling. But, you can get it done and have those beautiful photos of the wrinkly baby back in your glorious hands.
