I have had a bunch of internet set up dates, well a bunch by my standards and even had a couple of dates from guys who ended up being in work release when it was all said and done. Let’s just say, you can never be too careful.
If you want to read more about just such an adventure though as 77 blind dates, you need to check out Elizabeth Fournier. Who? Just read…..don’t ask questions, hehehe
You can find her post on this blog Shaun Cassidy – Awww the good ol’ days and you can read Elizabeth Fournier Guest Posts for Me but before you go, find out a little about the author.
After she got over her dream of being a Solid Gold Dancer, Fournier promptly headed into the local funeral home and asked for a job, any job. She became the live-in night keeper which meant she resided in a trailer in the far reaches of a large, hilly cemetery and slept with a shotgun near her bed. It was the scariest summer of her life.
She is currently the voice of the autopsy exhibit in the forensic wing at the United
States National Museum of Medicine and a full-time mortician. She is also a ballroom dance instructor at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. But she couldn’t resist writing the story of her unusual method of dating that led her to the love of her life.
Yea, this should make reading her book that much more interesting. I am currently getting ready to read her book so I can do a review of it. But, as with a couple of other books, I had to go chase down at my mom’s house because she got to it before I did.
I gave a copy away on this here blog and so you guys gotta keep your eyes open or you care going to miss all the good giveaways. This one wasn’t properly promoted because I was busy in Orlando admiring that beautiful city. But, here I am going to try to get you a reminder so you can go give her book a read.
When you are all done, by all means, come back and tell me what you thought.
