Why is this funny?

I have no idea why this is funny to me but, I do know that lately a lot of people are just spamming the heck out of other people’s space simply for the act of a back link.  I suspect that is what some of these folks were doing when they left the following comments on my Media Blog.  Here ye Here ye, there is nothing on this site to warrant comments…yet some folks felt so inclined.  And, if you are so inclined, then I can’t help if I become inclined to call you out by name or link and then delete your silliness.

So, on Jerri Ann Reason, waiting to be moderated are:

buyseroquelonlinecheap.weebitennyevape wants to know “Is the museum open on Sunday?  Sorry but I don’t even know where a museum i and you obviously are not familiar with me or you would know that museum around here equals local gardens and caves.  Sorry

snoniadobia.gmail.com wants to know “What’s the platform number?”  Platform?  you mean like in the tree stands they use for hunting around here?  I don’t think they actually have a number sweetie, good luck.

offehoumb@gmail.com wants to know “What month is it now?”  Ok look just how stupid are you people that are finding my blog?

coffeebreakarcade.info suggests “Help yourself to bread.”  Yea I do and ice cream and chips and recee cups, I’m not stranger to the carbohydrate family.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/bactrim wants to assure you that if he/she has ever done something to hurt you, please accept their apology to make it right, “I’m sorry!”  Whatever he/she did must have been bad to need exclamation points

noupsbugsag “Is this the way to the library?”  Library, I told you we don’t have museums and we don’t have platforms, now you want a library…

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/bactrim “Excuse me.”  I wonder if he/she farted in the library…or one of those platforms

forced foot smelling story “…now I’ll be in touch” and you will “excuse me” if I prefer that this person just doesn’t bother following through, right?

So there, don’t get caught in my tiny web I weeve…mmkay

Wow, so that stung just a little bit…

Just as I was happily typing away about how wonderful it was to read the comment regarding “I found your blog on Google”, I was getting a really bashing comment on one of my other blogs.  It was on this post, The Angry 4 Year Old.  You see, obviously there are folks out there who believe that I enjoy the fact that my 4 year old isn’t potty trained.

Ok, so did you get that?  Would you enjoy it if your 4 year old were not potty trained?  Erm..I didn’t think so.  And, because I knew the kid had a stubborn streak in him (a mile wide, resembles his very own mothers, darn me), I have waited longer than I might should have about contacting a doctor.

But, we did just that today.  All along I thought it was a Sensory Disorder and that was semi-confirmed today.  She also indicated that there was some ODD or Oppositional Defiance Disorder along with some issues with anxiety.  Anxiety?  I was nodding my head in complete agreement with the anxiety part of this deal.

As most of you know, I’ve been traveling a lot as of late, 3 weekends out of the last six I’ve been gone for at least 3 days, and in some cases 4 days.  And, when I return home, the kid is glued to me.  There is no doubt in my mind that this is an issue.

The doctor was kind enough to ask “are there any anxiety disorders in the family?”, to which I laughed out loud because, er…duh, can you say “thanks to his mom for that too”.

So, if you are keeping tabs, that makes me responsible for 2 of the 3 issues he is coping with.  As for ODD, he did NOT get that for me.  Ditto Boy is more like me in this area, he aims to please and would never defy authority because he wants to be liked.

So, there you go, some folks make me happy, some folks make me sad…and guess what?  That’s just life……

“I found your blog on Google”

Ok, so listen up, I got a comment on a post that read “I found your blog on Google” and people, I want to suck face with the person who wrote that.  I wanted to just climb through my laptop screen and lick on the person who left this comment.

As most of you know, I don’t get a lot of comments, so when I get any comments, it absolutely makes my day…it makes me want to just shout and scream.  So, with that, a comment that even says they found me on Google, well duh, you can read it for yourself…

If someone can find me on Google, then hey, more power right?  So, there’s all of the naysayers out there who seem to think that my goal of commenting on 50 blogs, 5 days a week…this right here is why I comment….I comment because it feels soooo good to get a comment….and I want to make people feel that good.

So, most definitely I do this first thing in the morning because if I do it at night, I tend to skim more and comment less.  So, I do it early and I do it often.  Sometimes I just open the blog in a tab out of my feed reader and I may not read it for a few hours, but I get it done.

So, I re-issue that challenge, go find at least 10 blogs a day, 5 days a week and MAKE SOMEONE’S DAY!
