MuffinTopLess Contest for Slim Perfect -UPDATED

As most of you know, I entered a great contest on Muffin Topless last week and I had so many many many people support me in this contest that it was truly amazing. I had no idea that there were as many people willing to step up and speak out on my behalf.

After I saw the incredible response on the contest site and on my own video post, I didn’t care if I won, lost or never heard another word from them. But, that wasn’t even a thought, Slim Perfect had already offered me an opportunity to review and giveaway. I was so excited I didn’t think I was going to be able to contain myself.

So, here’s a little bit that you might not know about Slim Perfect. Slim Perfect is listed in an article in “O” Magazine in May titled “Best Bathing Suit for Every Body (Yes, We Mean Yours)” listed as “Best Brands” for “Sizes 12 and Up” and “To Take Inches Off.” This is under the Style section on Oprah.com.

I received my gorgeous Aqua Tankini and Slim Skort and immediately headed to change. I have to tell you that it isn’t the kind of clothes I normally wear but if you saw the video tape, you know that it is best that I don’t continue to wear clothes that I feel most comfortable in on a regular basis.

Check me out, in all my hottness….(I cropped out my dirty pony tail but this is also the unveling of my non-casted foot. As you can see, I am in this lovely black brace but it is shoe friendly. I did put on one good shoe with my outfit but between now and Blogher, I am going to wear the brace with a tennis shoe per doctors orders…Blogher baby, you are gonna see my feet….)

This is a very nice outfit and the quality of the fabric is unbelievable. The color is awesome and to think, I didn’t even pick it out, Casey did that and she is good.

Blogher Scavenger Hunts

Ok, here goes:

I will wear a piece of jewelry from J n J Collections sometime between Thursday at 6 and midnight Saturday night. I will have on one of the following pieces:

If you see me wearing this, write down Joseph’s website address on one of YOUR business cards (or piece of paper if you have no cards). The first person to do this will win a $25 Gift Certificate to J n J Collections. If you miss me wearing it the first time, keep watching, I have some discount coupons for the ones who are just a little late getting to me

2. Thorn clothing: I have 2 T-shirts from Thorn Clothing. One is for a teenager and the other is for a very small framed woman or teenager. I will not be wearing either of these since they are both part of the scavenger hunt. The process is the same, write down the website www.thorn.com on a business card or paper and give it to me. The first person who does this gets his/her pick of shirts, the next person who does this gets the other shirt, and then the rest of you who do this get a prize too.

3. Seatsnug – I do not remember how many of these I have, however, the rules are the same, find me, identify yourself with your business card and with the seatsnug (www.seatsnug.com)address on the card. I will give these materials out as long as I have them.

I have to blog today

Listen, I’ve been working hard today. And, if you don’t believe me, Google won’t let me send anymore emails. They cut me off about 3 AM and then when I got up at 8, I still was not back in the game. Finally I got back in and I apparently don’t learn very quickly because about 3 PM this afternoon? I got the whole “look stupid, quit sending so many emails” message and since that time, I’m lost.

I live by my email. My husband says that I am addicted. He calls my computer my heart. He will ask me if I am taking my heart on trips, or “are you taking thumper”. Get it , thump thump. He says that too.

I missed the Michael Jackson memorial but I’ve managed to watch almost all of it through CNN and CNN online. And, for some reason, I return to his daughter Paris’ statement and I sit on my sofa and bawl my eyes out. It’s been 22 years since my father died and watching her made me feel like I was that little girl. I was 19 when my dad died not 9 or 11 but it hurt all the same, trust me.

People can say all they want. I just have a couple of questions. Where were all this people that showed up today when Michael was self-distructing. I know that by all accounts, he was strong willed they say and wouldn’t take no for an answer. And, I’m sure that’s why more people didn’t alienate their friend in the name of trying to help him. And secondly, my question of Michael shielding his children’s faces all these years and then today, at his own Memorial Service, they were in plain site and Paris even asked to speak. I hope they can return to a life of normalcy. Or a life that’s as normal as it can be when you’ve lost a loved one.

And, finally, I am in a contest on Muffin Top Less and if you haven’t already seen my video entry, you need to go check it out. You can see my video here. Now this contest isn’t the kind that I need votes to win. However, one of the things that the contest sponsors asked for was for someone to show their transparency and if showing you that the seat of my pants could house another person, then I don’t know what transparency is.

You now, transparency is a big deal on blogs these days. But, the other thing they asked for was for the contestants to prove they are out-going and will promote the Slim Perfect clothing line. I forgot that part.

So, for those of you who know me as the “talk-to-much” lady that I am, please leave a comment on one of those posts telling the sponsors that yes, indeed I am a big talker and kind of…..out there….and I love me some attention. I mean, who wouldn’t love some attention in that little black dress yet hide in the corner when wearing their maternity clothes when their youngest child is already 4.5 years old?
