Back when it was not so taboo to write about your colleagues online, I worked at a job where I was surrounded by some really odd people.  I had affectionately awarded myself the name of Snow White and given each of the workers in the building a name…..a dwarf name.  And, in all honesty, I didn’t necessarily give them real dwarf names.

Since  I didn’t grow up on Disney movies like my children have, it is odd to me now that I even chose such a parade of characters.  But, one re-viewing of Snow White and I comically recall my co-workers.  Ha, good thing they never knew.

When my children got the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Diamond Edition, (which you can find more info about on the Snow White Diamond Edition Website, I often found myself laughing and enjoying portions of the movie that weren’t necessarily funny or noteworthy..unless of course you worked with one of the so-named dwarfs.

Anyway, as I mentioned in my review, we received the DVD and the 2 Blue-ray discs and you can see the Snow White Blu-ray Edition Trailer yourself.  And, now it’s time for someone here to get this same prize.  Would you like to know a little more about Blu-ray discs and players….check this out…

I’m going to be straight up an honest, I’m not a movie buff and I was thrilled that my children didn’t like to watch television.  Really, it was great, right up to the part where I needed to take a shower for the first time in days and I needed my children to be entertained for the 45 seconds that it would take me to jump in and out of the shower.  People think I”m kidding but these kids are 6 and almost 5 and I still do not shower at home alone with them.  I like where I live and I want to keep it that way.

That said, you are thinking to yourself, what kind of kids is she raising?  Well, I’m raising the kind that like to take things apart so they know how they work.  You can’t learn to build stuff when it’s already put together and working now can you?  Luckily, they will watch a few shows now and again for some sanity on my part but we are very picky about what they watch and they are even pickier about what they are willing to watch.

You read it correctly, I have two boys.  So, what would two boys, ages 6 and almost 5 want with a Snow White movie.  Oh dear me, the mauling that took place before I could get the plastic off of it.  They were reaching and grabbing and pushing and holy cow I think I had the whole 7 dwarf’s right here in my house.

I took the DVD movie out, carefully hiding the Blu-ray discs.  Yes, you read that correctly too, a DVD and Blu-ray of Snow White in the same package.  And, luckily for me, I needed some alone and quiet time and my boys were knocking one another out to get to the DVD player.

And, in she went.  The magic of it all…I happen to collect Mickey Mouse things and so when I say the magic of it all, I really feel that Disney does a great job of marketing to children and I am willing to put my adult feelings aside and concede that.

So, if you’ve ever thought your kid would look good in pictures, now is your chance to give it a whirl.  There’s more, the Mirror, Mirror On The Wall finds secret princesses inside each view with a series of questions and a phone call from their favorite princess.

With that, I don’t think there’s much else for me to tell you except oh how very wrong I was about my boys affection for a chic-flick.

*** And I’m sure most of you don’t know or care that the FTC finally made their statement today and they want met to tell you that I received my copy of the move free from One to One Network.(I also assume you know that not everything comes from one company, it’s just in this particular instance, the movie came from One to One Network.)  I personally assume that most of you know that I get free products and there is a disclaimer and a disclosure and all those other legal terms going on up in the header if you just wanna read them.  But, other than that, why can’t we just all get along?***
